Our Cars

The car we have chosen to race this season is the Serpent 720 '07. This is a 200mm scale car. The top speed of these cars is 80-100mph. They have a 2-speed transmission and they have adjustable shock absorbers. Each wheel has an independent suspension. The cars runs on 16% nitromethane methanol fuel. These cars require a lot of set-up. For set-up tips go to SERPENT.com "the home of SERPENT ".

This car is fitted with an AMB Personal Transponder.

Our Engines

 This season the engine we will be powered by will be the ***NEW MEGA ZX12 DSII+ LEGAL RACE POWERPACK. These engines are availible from HOBBIES IRELAND and It's Dealers. This will be our sole engine and we believe it is a good choice. This MEGA high performance racing engine is for use at top-level 200mm scale on-road racing.It is a high end engine with top quality piston and liner set, swiss-made bearings, latest design carburretor, orange cooling head and superbly finished grey anodised crankcase.
